#IWD2022 Awareness and support for at risk women

On March 7, 2022, Interchange will be at the House of Lords collaborating on work to support justice for female Afghan judges who face intimidation every day from the Taliban. This International Women’s Day event, hosted by OpenUK, will focus on the needed support for female judges at risk in Afghanistan.
Awareness is being raised by Helena Kennedy QC who has launched an urgent appeal to provide support to judges along with lawyers, women’s rights activists, human rights defenders and their families at risk in Afghanistan and in need of a safe haven abroad. [read more]
